On the occasion of the Green Week 2025 program, Adrenalin Park near Cluj, welcomes school groups with educational workshops about protecting the planet, held right on the adventure trails! Always dedicated to satisfying our guests, Adrenalin Park team wants to show the young generation a few hints on how to take care of the planet in a concrete way, both in everyday activities and through adventure course design techniques specific to most European adventure parks.
What’s included in Adrenalin Park’s “How to protect the planet” educational workshop?
To get your elementary, middle and high school students in the mood for getting out into nature, here are some details of the Green Week themed activities at Adrenalin Park. From arrival to departure, the students will have the chance to go through the following topics and activities:
- Presentation of the eco-friendly tourist attraction
- Short intro in the organic architecture + elements of environmental friendliness
- Exploration of adventure trails
- Explanation of tree protection systems, bird feeders,
- Team circuit with winning thematic green points
- Award ceremony: Awarding Diplomas of Participation in the educational workshop
Green Week: The Forest From a Vertical Perspective
As we use to explain to all the students, here at Adrenalin Park, people discover a new dimension: that of verticality! Of course with us, the vertical experience is lived among the trees, on aerial bridges, on moving logs, on trapeze, on undulating canvas, on ropes, on zip lines and on the climbing wall. Along the trails we discover the squirrel view of the world, how it moves from tree to tree!
Perspective shift is essential for the intellectual and mental development of every person. That’s why we encourage you to take advantage of the Green Week 2025 program and come with your students to the activities specially prepared for them!
The Forest: Home to Many Species of The Wonderful Local Flora and Fauna
Also during the Green Week, pupils will have the opportunity to realize that the forest is actually home to many species of plants, animals, birds and insects.
We want to draw attention to the Făget forest and certain parts of the Feleac massif, areas that include protected areas of national interest, namely the Făget of Cluj – Valea Morii Site of Community Importance. The site has been designated for the conservation of 11 habitats, 5 plant species and 23 animal species.
The forest in the immediate vicinity, with stands of beech and gorun, mixed with oak and hornbeam, is home to protected flowers and plants, as well as some animals specific to the area. More details on the information board at the Adrenalin Park entrance.
